How Solar Power Works

Solar Power is generated when the rays of the sun reflect on the photovoltaic cells of a solar panel. This energy is then stored in a Solar Battery or a High Amp Hour Battery . The current from the Solar Panel is regulated by a Regulator or a Controller.

It is easy to understand how solar power works but not that easy to get everybody to use it because of the cost involved.

MPPT Regulators are regulators with Maximum Power Point Tracking that regulates the power generated by the solar panel to be distributed to the batteries in a more effective way. With a MPPT Regulator the chances are that you will be generating about 30% more power than with an ordinary regulator.
